1656414_775430485818119_563383969_nNow more than ever we need your help with our WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE!

Due to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, many of the orphan teens we support have been displaced and are now refugees wearing only the clothes on their back. While you are out shopping for fall clothes for your children and/or grandchildren, we ask if you would please consider purchasing a clothing item or two for our orphaned teens. They are no different from kids here in the U.S. and would love to have fashionable clothes!

Our biggest need, winter boots and shoes, but sweaters, shirts, coats, jeans, …the list is endless…is much appreciated! Both the girls and boys are petite in size so small and mediums will work for teens that are 15 – 21 years of age. If at this time you are unable to purchase a new item, donating clothes in excellent condition is welcomed.  Our kids grow like weeds and love stylish clothing that is either new or gently used. Please do not donate clothes that are torn or stained.

The complete list of much needed items is:
• Winter Boots / Winter Shoes
• Coats & Jackets
• Winter Gloves / Hats / Scarves
• Jeans
• Sweaters / Shirts
• Packs of new underwear
• Packs of new socks (boys prefer black)
• Packs of Pantyhose or Tights
• Long underwear

The deadline to get items to us so that we can send it to Ukraine for the upcoming winter is Tuesday, September 30, 2014.

1622052_775429985818169_904709547_nClothes can be dropped off at the Heart for Orphans office in Williamsburg at 3917 Midlands Rd., Bldg. 1, Suite A. However, if you live out of town and would love to participate in our clothing drive, just contact our office at 757-220-3457 and we will assist you in getting donations shipped to Ukraine. Questions? Contact Lindsay at the above phone number or email at

If you are not certain of the size or even what to buy, cash donations are welcome and we will do the shopping and shipping for you.

Thank you for your generosity!
